Hello Fashionista’s, sorry I am a little behind with this article. I flew in from Koln into London Heathrow last night and was so hung over from the festivities and jetlag that I could not share with you the beautiful pictures of Antonia’s private birthday bash with you all in time. Like my big brother Justin Barthson will say, Antonia celebrated “An age we can believe in”. And yes to that the celebrant had Konigswinter Germany lit up with the most glamorous guest from around the world gathered in the stylish Rheinhotel Loreley Bonn an ornate building dating from the 1890s Overlooking the River Rhine. The birthday girl brought together her friends and family is an intimate dinner on the second floor of the hotel to celebrate life as she blew the candle to another year of blessings. The party goers received the memo and everyone came to slay.
The variation of individual style and trends in the room was OSCARS worthy. A blend of African print and haute couture. The birthday girl changed into her second outfit of the night which was a Chi Chi London Embriodered Back Detail Midi Dress. Frida Forya beamed in plum cheek blush as she gracefully mastered the ceremony in a strapless flow length African print dress. Inda Mbawa came decked out in a white evening gown with pretty big bow and a side slit serving glamour with her hair beautifully laid back in a pony tail. The memo stated pink, white or turquoise. The gents went all in to compliment the ladies. Cousins, Sammy Awambeng and Boni Ngu twinned up and took fashion risk in white suits and pink shirts. Samuel Awasum stood out in all the birthday colours wearing blush pink cropped trouser, paired with blue jacket and a blue and white striped tie. Dr Abam settled for a turquoise African print two piece outfit with a matching hat.
Everyone looked glamorous in their lovely evening gowns and beautiful make-up. The gents gave GQ a run for their money. As we dined and partied into the night, Vally Mbawa kept the dance floor going in an outstanding collection of Afrobeats mixed with old school RnB music.
