Hello fashionistas, before we settle into reading this post, here is a little shoe obsession/confession I made to myself but fell short because I could not keep my calm after trying this black beautiful velvet sandals.

As a renown shoe addict (true confession), I had made a self promise to not buy any shoes from high street brands as they were easy to get and most times I bought them because I saw them not because I needed them. So my promise was to only shop high end brands like Christian Louboutin, Jimmy Choo, Giuseppe Zanotti and those brands I could hardly ever afford. However when I saw this black velvet barely there heeled sandals from River Island, Lord knows I had to sin. Long story short let’s look at this outfit…

In this outfit, I am wearing an oversize Wide cotton shirt  in size 8. The shirt has a lot of room in it so it is advisable to shop a size down from your original size. I decided to break down the shirt with a blue waist belt to give more fitting to the shirt and accentuate the outfit. I could have worn a wide leg pant for a more dramatic look but I kept it easy with this dazzling silver sequin knee length pencil skirt with side split. I stepped into full style on a black velvet barely there heeled sandals. And my jewellery, even Karl Lagerfeld knows I love me a statement piece of accessory. I am wearing a gold look bar drop earrings with cream pearl detail.

I encourage you all to update your wardrobe staples with more plain white shirts. You can wear them with jeans, skirts, shorts, tailored pants. The versatility of a classic white shirt is endless and a key colour clothing every body should own in their wardrobe.
