Valery Ntali and his belle, accountant and YouTube beauty Vlogger Emelda Ntali (Ela Emelda), tied the knot in Bamenda. The traditional wedding took place in Ntahseng, the white nuptial at Azire and the reception at Azam hotel Bamenda. Of course, we are here to talk about the fashion choices at the wedding and all that good stuff.
Toghu Print for Cameroonian Weddings
I just love how nowadays Cameroonians are embracing their culture and uniqueness. The choice of the toghu for this wedding was simply genius! Absolutely, Valery needs some major props for his look. From the toghu “country cap” to the beads around his neck and the basic black leather slippers. Lose the watch and he was on point. Then to his outfit proper. Wearing the toghu wrapped around his left shoulder and waist like Toga or a Masai warrior was such a distinctive choice.
Beauty Vlogger Ela Emelda ties the knot
O, how I wish his bride, Ela Emelda had also stayed in character and gone plainly traditional? Known for her thrilling YouTube videos with fashion and make-up tips, the influencer and beauty vlogger fell a little short for me. Don’t get me wrong, her toghu outfit was “nice” but next to her hubby’s very traditional look, she kind of missed the mark. The authenticity was watered down. Anyhu, she still looked gorgeous.

Stunning off-the-shoulder princess wedding dress
I would say though, she kind of made up for it with her white wedding dress. The gorgeous princess style ballgown with off-the-shoulder sleeves was absolutely stunning. However, I am not liking the bouquet and the bag. First of all, it is just too much! Then, the shades of the bouquet and bag were contrasting with her dress. Had they been the same color or shade, maybe it could have worked better. Besides, what happened to some color? The weather was gorgeous. Moreover, Valery is dashing in a blue suit which would have been complemented really well with a vibrant and colorful bouquet!
That said, the beauty blogger’s hair and makeup were sublime! I mean, you can’t mess with Ela on the make-up and hair game! It’s her forte. Congrats Valery and Ela. Here’s to a blessed and everlasting union!
