1 Totally chic way to style your sequin skin this season
Hi fashionista’s, how’s everyone doing? So in today’s outfit, I am wearing mixed textures which are another fashion risk. As you know, I am not one to follow trends and conventions. When it comes to on-the-go style, I wear what comes to mind and the rest really is faith and chance. In this outfit, I am wearing a yellow round neck knit jumper paired with a sequin skirt.
Not only is yellow one of my favourite colours, I also love the fact that it brings a fresh colour pop and adds a little sunshine to my style. Additionally, the colour yellow seems to be in season. You will find a yellow piece of clothing in every high-street shop window. As temperatures begin to drop, I thought it a little wise to layer up the chest area with stylish knit. Of course, you can keep warm and still be chic at the same time. I love this yellow sweater because of its supremely soft chenille texture and the comfort it gives.

How to Style Sequin
SEQUIN SKIRT LOOK
Like you all know, my style is not complete without a little bit of me flaunting my “pins” (aka my legs! hahaha). Like they say, “If you got it, flaunt it”. So, I went on to pair my chunky knit jumper with a mini sequin skirt I have had for ages. Bear in mind, not everything I wear is brand new. Sometimes, I dig through the pile and make use of some pieces that may have disappeared from sight. This sequin skirt is an old buy from Lipsy (I suppose) which has been neglected for years. I could have dripped in sequins if this outfit was for a night out with friends. However, because it was a casual day style, I had to bring in my personal twist to the styling. Another chic way to style sequins will be to style with a crop jacket or a bustier top.

To complete the look, I put on a fun piece of multi-coloured pom-pom earrings to compliment my sunshine jumper. Stepping on a pair of Christian Louboutin Pigalle instantly elevates the full look from a 6 to a 10 and blends in the entire outfit. It’s the perfect outfit for comfy and sexy appeal. Personally, I love the look. It looks cute, fresh, easy and anyone can pull it.
