Black Panther cast showed up, decked out in their best at the Golden Globe Awards this past Sunday. The movie which was one of the most talked about of 2018, rightfully earned a Golden Globe nomination for best picture.
Black Panther Cast Fashion Queen – Lupita Nyong’o
Definitely, when you talk about red carpet moments, Lupita Nyong’o comes out on top. In true fashion, she donned a stunning cobalt blue fringed strapless dress with silver beading by Calvin Klein by Appointment. She styled her dress perfectly with dangly silver Bulgari earrings and silver platform sandals from Aldo (which are going for $45 now at Aldo.com). She completed the look with a silver box clutch, also by Calvin Klein. I think my favorite part of this look was her natural hair styled in a shape that paired to perfection the retro feel of the dress. Although I cringed a little at the matchy-matchy blue eyeshadow she rocked, the overall look was very cohesive.
Michael B. Jordan Keeps it Simple
Unlike the restĀ of hisĀ Black Panther castĀ members, Michael B. Jordan kept it classic and simple in Burberry. He rocked a custom black double-breasted tuxedo, paired with a white dress shirt and a black bow tie. The understatedness of his outfit seemed like the perfect canvas to showcase his gorgeous face. He completed the look with black leather derby shoes impeccably polished toĀ an immaculate shine. For accessories, he donned a silver lapel pin and a watch by Piaget. Simple, elegant, clean and chic!
Danai Gurira Flaming in Red and Orange like tongues of fire!
Meanwhile, Danai Gurira chose a custom Rodarte embroidered gown in red sequins. The dress featured an orangeĀ underlay satin fabric, finished with a giant orange satin bow over the shoulder. She accessorized her look with vintage Fred Leighton jewels for an absolutely stunning look.
ChadwickĀ Boseman in Silver Sparkly Loafers
Finally, āTāChallaā Chadwick Boseman, dropped the mic in a dashing all white brocade ensemble. Strangely, he did not walk the red carpet. However, he sure got our attention when he joined the rest of the cast on stage. While presenting the award for Best Animated Feature, Chadwick stood out like an ethereal king in white. Ultimately, taking his look even further over-the-top, he donned silver sparkly loafers that gave us all shoegasms.
