When we talk of Cameroonian fashion designers, the name Kibonen Nfi comes up. The brand Kibonen NY is owned by famous Cameroon designer Kibonen Nfi known for her bespoke ‘Toghu’ embroidered,print dresses and African inspired fashion coats.Back in September 2016 the African designer who was also a Vogue talent 2015 became an internationally recognised fashion designer when her Kibonen NY dress was worn and baptised by Lupita Nyongo’o during her movie campaign of ‘Queen of Katwe’.

Almost a year after the brands success went viral on the world wide web, Kibonen NY has decided to take the ‘Lupita Dress’ on a fashion campaign tour. The Cameroon dress maker who has had a series of disappointments in the past with delivering of the celebrity dress, took to her social media handles today to announce:
