In the wake of the #AgbadaChallenge an Instagram campaign first initiated by some of Nigeria’s best-dressed men, Sha Sha New caught the inspirational bug. Of course, the challenge was accepted by some Cameroonian designers including Amah Bertrand, Sawali Le Parisien, as well as Kingsley Prince Noni.

Judging by the looks from all five outfits, you will agree that the designer has put in a lot of thought into the challenge. Every piece is uniquely stitched and carefully embroidered. Also, a lot of consideration is put into the choice of colour and design. Even though the Agbada is a traditional East African menswear outfit, Prince Noni had to bring in the contemporary twist.
In the light of the Agbada challenge, we agree the blend of animal print and Lion embroidery is completely genius. Who would have thought Leopard print and Lion embroidery would blend so easily on an outfit? Everything on this set screams power. Again it’s not the first we’ve seen designers use animal imagery on their pieces. Gucci uses the Lion head on its belt and sneakers and now Noniwhitewear is adding the mix to his design.
